" I found your photo. I have not been able to get it out of my head since.

I want to explain to you why, but I'm having a hard time finding words. So please be patient with me while I try to explain. This photo is so touchable, so textured, so colorful, and vibrant that I immediately wanted to reach into my computer screen and touch the pastels. This desire was(still is!) so very strong that I actually went out and bought a set of colored soft pastels. I've been drawing ever since then. And actually, I'm about to go and photograph my own pastels now.
This photograph just touched a part of me so deeply. I know that must sound insane.. it's a photo of pastels... but there is something SO special about it.

This photo means a lot to me. I think you did a great job."
